Locate : Goa Candolim beach is situated in the north of Goa and lies close to the Sinquerim beach. From the Candoilm beach you can see the Fort Aguada, as this beach is located just below the fort.

Candolim Beach Goa is one of most frequented and popular beach of Northern Goa in India. The peaceful Candolim beach starts at the footsteps of the famous Fort Aguada, built by the Portuguese in 1612. The sandy stretch of Goa Candolim beach runs into Calangute Beach, a busy and commercialised center. Since there are no resorts near Candolim beach, it is very secure and serene. This a perfect place for the people in search of tranquil surroundings.

To reach Goa Candolim beach, you can avail taxi or bus services or better still, hire a bike. For getting back from there, you can try the taxi stands located near the Candolim beach offering you services at fixed rates to different places.

Lodging at Candolim
You will find many hotels and guesthouses at Goa Candolim beach, which offer you a comfortable stay, but they might be little expensive, if you have a tight pocket. So, it is a better idea to stay at guesthouses near some other beaches.

Fort Aguada
Fort Aguada near Candolim beach was built in the year 1612 by the Portuguese. This is a well-known fort in Goa and is worth visiting. Two exotic beaches - Candolim and Calangute are located at the northern side of the fort.
